Bozeman Film Festival, Inc. respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users of our website and services to do the same.

 

2. Film Submission Requirements

Filmmakers submitting to the festival must:

• Own all rights to their submitted work, or

• Have secured all necessary licenses and permissions for:

  • Music and sound recordings

  • Footage and images

  • Performances

  • Literary works

  • Any other copyrighted material

 

3. Prohibited Content

The following content is strictly prohibited:

• Films containing unlicensed copyrighted material

• Pirated or unauthorized copies of films

• Content that infringes on any intellectual property rights

 

4. DMCA Compliance

Notification of Claimed Infringement

If you believe your copyrighted work has been infringed, please provide our DMCA Agent with:

1. Physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner

2. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed

3. Identification of the infringing material and its location

4. Your contact information (address, phone, email)

5. A statement of good faith belief that use is not authorized

6. A statement under penalty of perjury that the information is accurate

8. Trailer and Promotional Material Policy

• Filmmakers grant us limited rights to use trailers and promotional materials

• We will properly attribute all materials to the copyright owner

• Materials will only be used for festival promotion

• Rights terminate after the festival unless otherwise agreed
