The Film Festival takes place in the historic downtown Bozeman Montana. The key venues for parties and films are The Ellen Theatre, The Rialto - by Tinworks, The Kimpton Armory Tune Up Bar, the Baxter Hotel's Grand Ball Room , and the AC Marriott Lobby, which will host the VIP Lounge.

Our 2026 lineup will showcase Narrative and Documentary Features, Montana-made films, and Short Films across Narrative, Documentary, Adventure and College categories. BFF is offering an Emerging Filmmakers opportunity in partnership with Media Mavericks, an inspiring initiative from Montana PBS education, to feature submissions from high school students around the country.
