The Bozeman Film Festival is thrilled to partner with Montana PBS – Media Mavericks, an inspiring initiative that elevates and empowers Montana’s teen voices by providing an authentic audience for the stories that matter to them. This event will be hosted in a downtown venue steeped in Bozeman history. Stay tuned. 
 
Headed by MT PBS youth media specialist, Ann Bernard, the at Montana PBS in collaboration with Henry Scott—a talented high-school filmmaker with a passion for elevating young voices. Together, we’re celebrating the next generation of Montana storytellers by inviting students from across the state to share their creativity, originality, and unique point of view through film.
 
Each year, Media Mavericks will coordinate submissions from high school film clubs and independent student creators throughout Montana. From this pool of work, they’ll curate a standout collection of short films that showcase imagination, technical skill, and the unmistakable spark of emerging talent, and bring these selections together for a single, dynamic screening crafted especially for our festival audience.
